6 nights teachers yoga retreat, with top-class yoga teacher Lisa Petersen who will teach Hatha yoga and Somatics this week.

- There will often be short lectures using kinaesthetic/visual material (powerpoints, anatomical models, and other avenues) to help you embody yourself in new ways
This retreat is different to our usual retreats, as the outings will be shorter and more time will be devoted to the actual teaching and learning experiences with Lisa.
During our guided outing we stop off at one of the local cafes, and this is a lovely opportunity to taste the best of the local cuisine. Lunch is not included in the price of the retreat, and each person looks after their own lunch.
All our classes, outings and meals are optional, so you are free to join all or some as you please during the week.
We are famous for our food and so many people have said they would come back time and time again just for the amazing vegetarian food. Our chef will prepare all our vegetarian meals with organic and locally sourced vegetables and the finest ingredients.

Lisa teaches Hatha yoga and also incorporates Somatics into her teaching. Somatics is a mind body approach to improve our health and well-being naturally. Through the use of easy, relaxing, gentle movements, somatic exercises teach you to use your brain to change your muscles.

Daily ‘Outdoors in the Burren’ on all of our retreats.
The Burren Yoga Retreat is located at the foot of the Burren hills nestled amongst the hazel trees.
You are surrounded with a vast choice of special places in the Burren where we go for hill walks, Nature Trail walks, walks by the sea, beautiful beaches and forests to explore.
There are optional activities such as surfing, kayaking, sea swimming, swimming in our nearby lake which heats up during the summer.
Flexible full daily time table
All our classes, outings and meals are optional, so you are free to join all or some as you please during the week.
However over 95% of people relish the freedom of not having to decide or choose what to do each day, and go with the full programme which is a well tried recipe which we have been running and improving on since 1999.

This special Yoga Teachers Retreat is designed for yoga teachers so that they can deepen their understanding and learn techniques to help them with their own teaching.
However, the retreat is suitable for everybody and the yoga practices will be reasonably gentle.
This is a lovely yoga retreat for anybody who really wants to deepen their own practice.
The classes are reasonably gentle but work at a very deep level to help you let go on all levels.
Lisa trains a lot of yoga teachers, so we will have many yoga teachers attending this special retreat.
There are no comparisons made between people, and this course is suitable for everyone.
